Family Practice

Michael was tapped as a lead in this Lifetime drama pilot, from Sony Pictures TV and "Lost" co-creator Jeffrey Lieber, about a young woman who gets involved with a family member of one of Chicago's most prestigious law firms. Michael's character, Kent Kinglare, is the youngest son who chooses to become a public defender.

Update: Unfortunately Lifetime TV has decided not to pick this one up!

 

No Man's Land

Michael has just finished filming this sequel on location in the desert in Palmdale, CA. Written and Directed by Dave Payne, produced by The Institution. This is a sequel to the International horror thriller hit Reeker. Michael is Harris McAllister, son of the Sheriff, played by the great Robert Pine.

The Portal

Michael plays Daniel Savanah in this indie thriller from Birch Tree Entertainment and writer/director Serge Rodnunsky. Also starring are Stacy Keach, Michael Madsen, Nicholas Brendon (Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Mary-Margaret Humes (Gail Leery from Dawson's Creek). Producers are Gerald Wolff and Sandy Hackett. The Portal official movie site.

Columbus Day

Michael is Detective Daniels in the Kevin Spacey- Triggerstreet Productions', "Columbus Day" starring Val Kilmer, Marg Helgenberger and Wilmer Valderrama. Michael was filming in April and May in Los Angeles.

Synopsis: Val Kilmer is a thief trapped in the biggest robbery of his life, one that’s rapidly going sour. He only has one morning in which to fix things while also trying to patch up his relationship with his ex-wife (CSI’s Marg Helgenberger). His only real help comes from a colleague (Wilmer Valderrama) who helps to organise the crime.

Michael recently completed filming "One Night" from director/writer Michael Knowles. This film was filmed entirely in Manhattan. Follow the lives of 16 New Yorkers over the course of ONE NIGHT whose lives overlap, brush up against and even collide with each other as they search for some sense of purpose and meaning.

Lovers, Liars and Lunatics

Michael has a leading role in "Lovers, Liars and Lunatics" AVAILABLE NOW ON DVD.

In this dark comedy from director Amber Benson, a pair of bumbling burglars break into what they think is an unoccupied house...only to discover that the family they've come to rob is actually asleep inside.

Trying to remedy the botched burglary, the would-be robbers take the family hostage in hopes of securing some cash.

Too late do they realize their mistake; that their hostages are more dysfunctional than they first appear. Slowly the burglars find themselves embroiled in the family's problems until it becomes apparent that they are the ones being held hostage, ensnared in a war of murderous intent.

Disconnect

Michael stars in this new independent which is almost ready for release. From Robin C. Peters of Dreamscape Cinema, this is the story of a distraught college student who finds a phone that enables her to talk to her deceased mom. Instead of a heart attack, she learns that her mom was murdered. She tries to use the phone to stop the murder before it happens.
