Hope for Haiti

On Friday, January 22, 2010, Michael attended the charity fundraiser organized by George Clooney to collect donations for the vicitims of Haiti's devastating earthquake on January 12.

Michael was authorized to take photos and videos and to live tweet during the televised fundraiser.

The telethon's website, HopeForHaitiNow.org, is still accepting donations which will continue to be distributed equally among the nonprofit organizations. The Entertainment Industry Foundation, which manages the website, has waived all administrative fees.

Daytime Emmy Awards August 30, 2009

Yes, he said he would do it and he did. Michael's transportation on Emmy evening was a fabulous vintage style bicycle, loaned to him by Felix, the owner of "The Bike Connection" on Ventura Blvd. Can't see it, but the bike model is aptly named "Hollywood".

The Booster Events Blowout is an opportunity for fans to spend quality time with the actors from their favorite TV shows. BE conventions concentrate on offering stars and fans a relaxed, fun-filled experience.

Proceeds from the auctions go to charity and to The Sandra "Itty" Fisher Memorial Scholarship. In auctioning off a dinner with Michael, the BE Blowout raised $6,400!

The Austin Marsathon - and great fun was had by all!

Michael is a guest speaker at Trinity High School in Texas

Michael recently visited Trinity High School in Euless, Texas where he graduated from in 1993. Speaking to the theatre students, Michael spent time encouraging them to follow their craft and continue their educations, and they had a lively question/answer session.

He surprised the students by wearing his football t-shirt from 1993 when Trinity's team made it to the state playoffs in Austin. See below his "I Back Da Boys in Black!" pic. They put an article about his visit on the school district's website. Read it here.
